FACIAL PARALYSIS

It is mostly seen in women and on the right side of the face. It is common around the age of 60. Pain occurs in the innervation area of ​​the trigeminal nerve. Pain spreads in an onion-like fashion in the maxillary, mandibular and facial branches of the frontal and trigeminal nerves. Pain is short-term and characterized by trigger points. Pain attacks last from a few seconds to five minutes. Acupuncture may be evaluated as a supportive approach by releasing endorphins and dopamine.
