CUSHING SYNDROME

It is a disease caused by excessive secretion of adrenal cortex hormone. It is a syndrome described with trunk obesity, hypertension, easy fatigue, weakness, amenorrhea, hirsutism, purple lines on the abdomen, edema, glycosuria and osteoporosis. Acupuncture may be evaluated as a supportive approach by acting on hormones.
