Welcome to Dr. Ali SEZEN

ASTHMA

It is generally a recurrent respiratory disease. It occurs chronically and in seizures. The lumen narrows due to spasm of the smooth muscles in the airway walls. Mucus secretion accumulates in the bronchial mucosa due to hypertrophy of the glands. Vascular fullness and edema occur in the bronchial mucosa. Shortness of breath, dyspnea and wheezing are observed. Acupuncture may be evaluated as a supportive approach; immune, muscular, and edema-related findings require physician assessment.
