DIARRHEA

Diarrhea is defined as passing more than 3 stools in 24 hours or more frequent or watery stools than usual. It is a disease that can affect one or more organs due to the discomfort it causes, develops for various reasons that cause great discomfort in patients, can show different signs and symptoms from person to person, requires physician assessment, and is a common disease in society. It can be seen at any age. Amoeba is transmitted through food and drinks. Amoeba cysts in water are sensitive to chlorination. They die in high temperatures. Flies and cockroaches also play a role in transporting amoeba cysts. Amoebae settle in the large intestine and create wounds. They can settle anywhere in the large intestine, but they prefer places with low blood flow. Not every amoeba that settles in the large intestine causes disease.
