It is a skin disease characterized by red, pearl-like dandruff. It is related to heredity. It has a chronic course with periods of exacerbation and recovery. It does not cause complaints such as itching and burning, but it may have an impact on the psychological state of the patient. It can occur at any age, but most often begins between the ages of 16 and 22. The reason is not exactly known. In people with a hereditary predisposition, some infections, physical, chemical or psychological traumas, hormonal fluctuations such as pregnancy and menopause, and some medications may trigger the emergence of the disease. The main thing is the overgrowth of skin in the diseased area. As a result, dandruff occurs.
